The National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO), National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory invite State Energy Offices, public utility commissions, and utility consumer advocates to participate in one of three trainings on integrated distribution system planning. The content of the three trainings will be similar, and state participants are welcome to attend any one of them.
This one-hour, public webinar will cover electric grid reliability and resilience. It will address the differences between the two concepts, including definitions, traditional and emerging metrics, visualizations of interruption data, and methods for classifying major events.

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response invites NARUC members to a cybersecurity training summit featuring interactive sessions, practical exercises, and peer learning to strengthen state energy sector cybersecurity. Note: This event complements, but does not replace, NARUC’s Cybersecurity Training for Regulators taking place in October 2025.
