What We Do

With over one hundred years of regulatory experience across members from the 50 States plus U.S. territories, NARUC understands what it takes to solve the most pressing energy problems facing our world today. We leverage our members’ regulatory experience to help build sustainable environments for investment and growth, working with federal and foreign partners to achieve results.

Our work takes the form of capacity building, technical assistance, regional collaboration and peer-to-peer exchanges, helping partner governments improve their regulatory frameworks. Our projects aim to provide support for advancement within the core competencies of clean energy, tariffs, public engagement, institutional development, energy security, and regional cooperation.
