Education Credit Information (Live Group)
This program is relevant to the following fields of study: accounting and auditing (corporate and governmental), business law, economics, finance, taxes, regulatory ethics, and specialized knowledge and applications.
The National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE Credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website.
AICPA/NASBA guidelines for CPE credits are based on a 50-minute credit hour in qualifying NASBA CPE subject areas; one credit equals 50 minutes. All breaks and lunches are omitted from the total CPE minutes.

When offering CPE credits, NARUC abides by all applicable professional accrediting boards and agencies’ rules and regulations. Students requesting CPE credit must follow all check in processes and participate in knowledge learning sessions. NARUC will not be able to provide credit for attendees who left a session before the program ended. To attain compliance, ensure the integrity of our CPE processes, and preserve our offerings’ high value, attendees seeking credit, whose records verify full session participation, will receive full credit. Must attend 50 minutes for each CPE credit.
The number of CPE credit hours for the Fall 20026 NARUC Rate School is 30.6.
NARUC is not pre-approved for Continuing Legal Credits (CLE) for this course.
• Attendees may submit the certificate of attendance and the required application materials to their certifying CLE Board.
• The total number of qualifying credits is up to 32, subject to confirmation of the state CLE Board.
• Certificates of attendance will be available to all students after the course. Certifying documents must be printed from the Resource Page.
