About NARUC

Registration and Policies

Professional Development courses must be paid for via credit card. Each student must register separately; group orders are not available.

On-demand courses cannot be canceled or refunded.

Registration for all NARUC Professional Development courses requires payment via credit card at the time of registration. Cancellation and substitution policies are listed below. Registration for Live Online Courses ends at 5:00 PM ET on the day before the first class. All students must be registered. Login information may not be shared. Group streaming is not allowed. Multiple logins under the same name/account will be disabled.

Registering for Professional Development Courses

  • Your MyNARUC account is used to register and take courses. If you don’t have an account, create one at https://www.naruc.org/mynaruc/.
  • Commissioners and commission staff members should be sure to use their commission email addresses when creating a MyNARUC account to ensure proper pricing. There is no charge for a MyNARUC account.
  • For new profiles, we recommend waiting until the next day to register for an event to ensure you receive the correct registration rate. If you do not see the appropriate registration rate when registering, please contact npdsupport@naruc.org and do not complete your registration until you receive a response. Please note that registrations completed before the overnight system update may be charged a higher rate and NARUC is unable to issue refunds in these cases.
  • Pricing for courses is based on course length. NARUC commission members receive a discounted price.
  • To register for a course, go to the list of available courses and select the course you want to take. The site will redirect you to the Professional Development registration site. Login to the site with your MyNARUC ID.
  • Once you’ve logged in, click on the top navigation bar, select Register for Courses, and then choose the course you want to take.

Accessing On-Demand Courses

  • Go to https://naruc.prosperitylms.com/Learners
  • Log in with your MyNARUC account.  Each person must log in separately.
  • Click on the In Progress Tab at the top of the page
  • Select the on-demand course for which you are registered. 
  • Click on details.
  • You can open and watch the course.

Substitutions

A $50 processing fee applies to all substitutions. If you cannot attend a live online course that you have registered for, you may substitute an individual from the same organization. The substitution request must be made no later than 7 business days prior to the first day of the course. The substitute must have a My NARUC profile in the system. Click this link to create a profile in MatrixMaxx => https://www.naruc.org/mynaruc/. To request a substitution, please send an email to npdsupport@naruc.org.

Cancellations

A 20% processing fee applies to all cancellations. If you are unable to attend or secure a substitute from the same organization for a live online course, a cancellation request must be submitted no later than 7 business days prior to the first day of the course. To request a cancellation, please send an email to npdsupport@naruc.org. Approved cancellations will receive a refund minus the 20% processing fee.

NARUC reserves the right to cancel or postpone courses in the unlikely event of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances.
