What is the dress code?

Sunday – Travel Casual Comfortable

For the Sunday evening Super Bowl LVI pre-game day reception wear your favorite team jersey to show team spirit! Jeans are acceptable.

Monday – Wednesday: Business Casual

What TO wear: slacks, skirts, dress, collared shirts, blouse, sweaters, jacket. Wearing layers is suggested as the meeting space may run cool or warm compared to your comfort level.

When does online Regular Registration rate end?

Friday, February 4 is the deadline for the advance registration rate. The late registration rate is available online through February 11. Advance registration is required.

Can I register onsite? 

NO. Onsite registration is not available. Attendees may pick up badges during the following hours.

Sunday, February 13   12:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Monday, February 14   9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday, February 15   9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Can I attend just one day of the Conference?

How do I update/create a profile? Click here

If your information is missing or incorrect online, then the information will also be missing or incorrect in our database and on your in-person badge. Note: Information must be entered in your profile to print on the badge by Friday, February 4. 

How do I update an existing registration attendance preference?

  1. Click here to begin updating your attendance preference.
  2. From the 2022 Winter Policy Summit meeting page click the “My Meetings” button”.
  3. Under the My Upcoming Meetings section click the “View/Edit Registration link
  4. Under the registration bundle, select the “2022 Winter Policy Summit – Hybrid” meeting to edit choices
  5. Click the “Save/Continue” tab until you reach the Questions page.
  6. “The first item under your name should be “Confirm how you will participate”, select the appropriate option.
  7. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to either accept the terms of the in-person attendee waiver or select “N/A” if you are participating virtually. Click the “Save/Continue” button.
  8. Continue to click the “Save/Continue” button until your updates have been processed and confirmed.

Can I bring a guest in person?

The first guest has complimentary access to the NARUC Welcome Reception.  Fees for any additional guest will apply. Badges are required for entry. All other meals and educational sessions are for registered attendees only.

Is wi-fi provided for in-person attendees during the conference?

Wi-Fi will be available in all meeting spaces at the Renaissance Hotel.  Registrants will receive password information on the conference app and on-site during the conference.

How will I access the NARUC Winter Policy Summit virtually?

All registered attendees will receive an email the week of February 7 with information to download the Winter Policy Summit virtual platform and App.

Registered but didn't receive a link to sessions?

Check your spam folder for the message containing the link. You can also find the link by visiting the Conference App tab on the NARUC website beginning February 7.

Will session recordings be available after the meeting?

Yes. Recordings will be posted to the platform/App within 48 hours of the live presentations. Recording will be available to registered attendees on the platform/App until March 15.

What are the browser requirements for accessing the virtual platform?

We recommend viewing the session using Google Chrome. The Summit is not supported using Internet Explorer. You do not need to install any software to watch videos or participate in the Winter Policy Summit.

What is the hotel’s health safety protocol?

The Renaissance Washington Hotel will have verification stations in the lobby. Documentation will be needed for admittance to meeting space. Hotel Guests can show documentation when checking in.

It is recommended you travel with your photo identification (state issued driver’s license or ID card, passport, student ID).  You will also need proof of vaccination.  Acceptable forms include a CDC issued vaccination card (original, photocopy or digital copy), record of immunization from a healthcare provider or public health authority, or a COVID-19 verification app (including VaxYes, Clear, Excelsior, MyIR).

If you are unable to take the vaccine due to a medical or religious exemption, you will need to have documentation from a medical provider.  Religious exemptions will be communicated upon check-in to the Hotel.  All patrons with an exemption will be required to show photo identification and documentation of a negative PCR or antigen test within the last 24 hours to enter the meeting space, restaurants, and gym.  Acceptable documentation includes digital results from a healthcare provider or a photo of the negative test.

State Vaccine Requirement: As of January 15, 2022 certain establishments including Hotel’s meeting space, restaurants & fitness center will be required to verify that patrons ages 12 years and older have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.  DC law requires that all individuals wear masks in indoor public spaces, regardless of vaccination status.
