During this activity supported by the United States Agency for International Development, officials from the Public Utility Commission of Texas exchanged valuable expertise with senior officials from the Nicaraguan Institute of Energy on fuel source diversification, grid reliability, quality of service, emergency preparedness, and renewable energy projects.

Representatives noted that the intense information sharing during the activity proved fruitful in several areas and provided the groundwork for a future exchange renewable energy.
