Exchange on Natural Gas Development

Date: September 2008
Location: Belgrade, Serbia

Through support from the United States Agency for InternationalDevelopment, officials from the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission shared relevant expertise with officials from the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia (AERS) on natural gas sector development, including practices in gas storage, market development, price regulation, connections to the network, development of a transmission code, and a simulative gas rate case.

Due to the groundwork laid during this exchange, the AERS was more prepared to develop a technical code for the natural gas market and the creation of natural gas tariff methodologies.
