With the support of the US Agency for International Development, a delegation from NARUC and the Energy Regulators Regional Association (ERRA) implemented a joint training program on regulatory issues for a wide spectrum of Kosovo's energy sector stakeholders, including the Energy Regulatory Office, UNMIK/Kosovo officials and Assembly representatives as well as the utility industry, media, consumer advocates, civil society and others.
The four-day training course provided the participants with a broad introduction to the fundamental principles of economic and energy regulation, roles of various decision-makers in energy sector reform and sector-specific technical approaches, case studies, methodologies and applications.
