Partnership Launch with Illinois

With the support of the US Agency for International Development, NARUC launched an inaugural partnership activity between the Energy Regulatory Office of Kosovo (ERO) and the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC). The Illinois team and their counterparts from Kosovo established a professional and collegial relationship and showed a substantial degree of openness in sharing their experiences and perspectives on the basic structure and challenges each organization encounters. Topics of discussion included public participation, tariff unbundling, incentive regulation, administrative procedures, rate design, consumer protection laws, power procurement and tendering process.
