Peer Review and Stakeholder Forum on Regulatory Issues

With the support of the US Agency for International Development, NARUC implemented a multi-faceted activity that included both a peer review of tariff methodology and two stakeholder forums on key regulatory issues.

During the first forum, NARUC experts shared the roles of US regulators, the relations of regulators with stakeholders, media, and consumers, and lessons from the US regulatory practices and recommendations with stakeholders providing assistance in the energy sector in Kosovo. In the second forum, Kosovar regulators met with utility representatives to discuss potential improvements to regulatory reporting and regulatory oversight, regulatory support schemes for renewable energy and approaches to ensure efficient and reliable electricity sector.
