Date: June 2012
Location: Prishtina, Kosovo
With the support of the US Agency for International Development, NARUC implemented a training seminar for newly appointed commissioners at the Energy Regulatory Office of Kosovo. The seminar introduced the new regulators at ERO to utility industries and provided an excellent foundation for commission management and day-to-day operations for their work as they assume their new regulatory functions.
The two-day training course shared select international best practices of energy sector regulation, covered issues related to the governance, procedural decision-making, operations, and communication of a regulatory commission and discussed electricity sector-related regulatory tasks.
