Partnership Exchange on Regulatory Accounting

Date: May 2014
Location: Frankfort, Kentucky; Lansing, Michigan

With the support of the US Agency for International Development, regulators from the Georgia National Energy and Water Regulatory Commission explored Uniform System of Accounts (USoA), loss calculation, regulatory audits and tariff methodologies with colleagues from Kentucky and Michigan. Georgia made progress to further elaborate a draft of its chart of accounts in order to implement a USoA and examined best practices on reliability of supply and loss calculation.

The exchange served as the formal conclusion of Georgia’s partnership with the Kentucky commission and the launch of the partnership with Michigan.
