Date: September/October 2010
Location: Kutaisi, Georgia

With the support of the US Agency for International Development, the Georgia National Energy and Water Regulatory Commission engaged with regulators from Kentucky on avenues to increase hydro production from the country for eventual export to the rest of the European continent, which came amid Georgian efforts to further integrate with Europe. Other topics discussed included connection fees, strategies for dealing with small natural gas providers, natural gas storage and concepts for structuring a demand-side management program.
