Exchange on Natural Gas and Electricity Market Development and Regulations

With support from the United States Agency for International development, officials from the New York State Public Service Commission met with their counterparts from the Croatian Energy Regulatory Agency for an exchange of relevant experience on the regulatory and technical aspects of natural gas market development and regulations, applications of electricity and gas pricing methodologies, service quality regulation, utility performance and regulatory monitoring, low-income and public benefits programs, and other critical issues.

As a result of the exchange, the representatives noted that valuable information about tariff methodologies, revenue requirements, and ratemaking for natural gas was shared.
