Europe and Eurasia: Bosnia and Herzegovina

Partnership Exchange on Licensing and Markets

Date: September 2014
Location: Columbus, Ohio

With the support of the US Agency for International Development, BiH regulators discussed market-oriented concepts with NARUC experts, which proved critical given that the regulators were finalizing regulatory inputs to Market Rules, Conditions of Supply, and Rules on Eligible Customers.

The exchange also looked at the licensing and permitting process of new facilities, and PJM Interconnection joined participants to discuss issues such as structure and independence of the organization, day-ahead and real-time balancing markets and transmission congestion management issues.
