Peer Review on Information Management and Public Hearings

Dates: August 25-27, 3015
Location: Hanoi, Vietnam

With the support of the U.S. Department of State, this peer review focused on increasing the Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam (ERAV)’s regulatory capacity to address emerging issues in Vietnam’s competitive power market. Three NARUC volunteer experts and 10 ERAV representatives participated in the peer review, which focused on providing practical regulatory experience on information management, monitoring, and public hearings. The peer review resulted in a number of immediate action items and occurred in the broader context of NARUC’s ongoing support for Vietnam’s competitive power market reforms.
