Stakeholder Forum on Small Scale Renewable Energy Regulation

In collaboration with The Gambia’s Public Utility Regulatory Authority (PURA) and funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), NARUC hosted a forum called “Policy for Small Scale Renewable Energy Regulation.” PURA used this platform to unveil a new feed in tariff and to discuss the latest timelines and improvements to the licensing frameworks. Stakeholders had the chance to assess the progress of renewable energy framework. NARUC experts also shared their experiences with renewable energy.

The dialogue led to increased collaboration among stakeholders on implementation of renewable energy frameworks.
