With support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), NARUC experts visited the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) for a partnership exchange on complaints handling systems and Uniform System of Accounts. NARUC experts discussed three priority areas during the exchange: IT complaints handling system; Consumer Education/Public Relations; and current reporting and accounting practice as it relates to the Uniform System of Accounts. NERC staff and NARUC experts divided into working groups to address each of these topics, identifying key issues, challenges, and next steps.
