Partnership Exchange on Pricing, Licensing and Monitoring of Natural Gas Regulation

During this activity, sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), members of the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC), the Energy Commission (EC), and the Ministry of Energy (MoE) of Ghana traveled to Columbus, Ohio for an exchange with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) to focus on the topics of pricing, licensing and monitoring of natural gas regulation.

This activity helped the Ghanaians build policy and regulatory capacity for developing their natural gas market, as well as provided them with the necessary tools for effectively using natural gas as a resource for electricity generation.
