Sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and NARUC, a delegation from Ghana, made up of representatives from the Energy Commission, Public Utilities Regulatory Commission, and the Ministry of Energy attended the Nigerian Association for Energy Economics Conference. Following the conference, NARUC held a workshop that included invited participants from around West Africa for more in-depth discussions on some themes from the conference sessions.
Participants came up with a list of priority issues for future discussions, including training of journalists on energy industry fundamentals and tracking regional energy market developments.
