With the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), NARUC gathered more than 25 regulators from eight countries for a technical workshop on renewable energy development. The workshop focused on introducing foundational regulatory tools to promote renewable energy and frameworks for clean energy and carbon reduction policies. Participants at the workshop shared experiences on how regulatory frameworks impact investment decisions and renewable integration, offering a robust forum for a regional exchange of ideas and information.
The workshop was cohosted by regulators from Costa Rica and the Coordinating Association of Central American Energy Regulators (ACERCA).
