NARUC Statement on Chairman Willie L. Phillips' FERC Confirmation

WASHINGTON (November 17, 2021) — In response to the U.S. Senate confirmation of DC Public Service Commission Chairman Willie L. Phillips to serve on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners President Judith Williams Jagdmann has issued the following statement:

“On behalf of NARUC and its members, I am very pleased to congratulate Chairman Willie L. Phillips on his FERC confirmation. We look forward to working with him in his new role, seeing him at future NARUC meetings and engaging with a full complement of FERC commissioners."
