Kerry L. Worthington has been with NARUC since 2014 and prior to NARUC, she was with the National Regulatory Research Institute (NRRI). With both NARUC and NRRI, she staffed the Eastern Interconnection States' Planning Council (EISPC) and now staffs the National Council on Electricity Policy (NCEP). She has expertise on electricity delivery and distributed generation and supported the development of the NARUC Staff Subcommittee on Rate Design "DER Rate Design and Compensation Manual." Additionally, Kerry supports NARUC's Energy Resources and the Environment Committee, and its Task Force on Innovation. Other responsibilities include running workshops, planning sessions, and facilitating peer-to-peer exchanges on utility compensation, risk management, distribution systems and planning, transmission planning, and a host of other grid modernization concepts. She has a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business from Towson University. Kerry also volunteers with Leaders in Energy, and with an urban forestry group.
