Matthew Acho joined NARUC in March 2018 as a Program Officer in the Center for Partnerships and Innovation. He received his Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and History from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and holds a Master’s Degree in Global Security from American University’s School of International Service. As Program Officer, Matthew focuses his work on energy security and national security, and particularly the role that cybersecurity plays in influencing both. He is staff liaison to NARUC’s Staff Subcommittee on Critical Infrastructure and Committee on Critical Infrastructure, and engages frequently with commissions on an array of cybersecurity topics.
