Irina Botu-Tallis joined NARUC in June 2019. Prior to joining NARUC, Irina was completing her Masters in International Economics and Energy from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. During her master’s she interned at Edison Electric Institute where she was conducting research on energy storage and microgrids. In addition, as a graduate consultant she analyzed the impact of the water-energy nexus on electricity generation. Irina also worked at multiple international organizations including the International Monetary Fund. She speaks fluent Spanish, and Romanian. Irina earned a B.S. in Commerce and M.S. in Commercial Business Administration from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.
