Federal Leaders, "Lights Out" Talk Highlight 2016 Winter Meetings
NARUC's 2016 Winter Meetings, occurring February 14-17, will feature talks from federal leaders that will address rulemakings, priorities within their agencies, and the role of state regulators. In a 6-2 opinion, the United States Supreme Court upheld the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's Order 745, a controversial rule that pays demand response the same locational marginal price that generators are paid in the settlement of organized wholesale markets.
