NARUC Applauds Supreme Court Decision in Truth-in-Billing Case
WASHINGTON-The National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners issued the following statement after the Supreme Court denied to hear a request to overturn a lower court's decision in the Truth-in-Billing case:
"By determining that it should not review this case, the Supreme Court is underscoring the important role that State commissioners play. This decision is a big win for consumers and it ensures that their State regulatory commissions will remain on the customer-protection beat."
NARUC President Marsha Smith of Idaho and NARUC Consumer Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Jones of Tennessee.
