NARUC's Jones Lauds Senate Confirmation of Clyburn's Renomination

WASHINGTON—The National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners issued the following statement after the Senate confirmed the renomination of Commissioner Mignon Clyburn to the Federal Communications Commission:

“On behalf of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners, I applaud the Senate for moving Commissioner Clyburn’s renomination. She has been a consistent voice for consumers during her tenure on the agency. She brings a unique and important perspective to the FCC’s deliberations, and we are all better off because of her service. She has also remained a true friend to NARUC through her participation and leadership on the federal-State joint boards and conferences on advanced services, universal service, and separations.”
--NARUC President Philip Jones of Washington
