Reimbursement Authorizations For Travel

Reimbursement Authorizations For Travel (RAFTs) are subsidies to support travel costs for NARUC members only. The subsidy is designed to support transportation to and from the associated activity and accommodations and transportation during the activity, and will not cover registration fees at NARUC meetings. Guidelines for specific usage vary by activity, so refer to the official RAFT letter for details.

Through funding from our public and private partners, NARUC grants and research is able to provide a limited amount of travel support to NARUC members to support participation in a grant-funded activity. Join a NARUC Committee to get involved in Grants and Research activities, or contact NARUC staff to learn more.

I understand this is an application and not a guarantee that I am receiving a RAFT.
I understand that the RAFT does not cover the registration fee for NARUC Meetings.
I understand that to be eligible for reimbursement the RAFT recipient must attend this event in its entirety.
I understand that in the event I am awarded a RAFT it will ONLY cover lodging at the maximum U.S. General Service Administration lodging rate, plus taxes and fees for the meeting location, and transportation to and from the meeting. Further details to be included in the RAFT award letter.
